ACHIEVEMENTS


In the KwaZulu-Natal Senior Certificate Examinations:
  • we are consistently one of the top schools
  • our learners have been placed regularly in the top 40
  • in 1996 we had the top candidate
  • our exemption and pass rates are well above the provincial average.

Many of our past learners not only complete degrees and diplomas, but cope well with the rigours of tertiary education.
We have won:
  • the Grade 12 KwaZulu-Natal Young Geographers Conference
  • the Grade 11 South African Young Historians Conference
  • the Grade 10 and 12 Alan Paton Literary Competition
  • top places in the English, Afrikaans, Science, Typing and Computer Olympiads  
  • the Maskew Miller Longman Trophy for the Best Performing School in the Pinetown District (Matric 2000).
  • the ELITS Provincial Library Award for Excellence in 2003
